Certificate of Entry (COE) to be replaced by "Thailand Pass" Online Registration System in Nov 2021
Certificate of Entry (COE) to be replaced by "Thailand Pass" Online Registration System
in November 2021 for most travelers
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been cooperating with the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) to develop the "Thailand Pass" system, the web-based system for Thai and foreign travelers to fill in their information and upload related documents before traveling. The purpose of the system is to support "Ease of Traveling" policy which will be implemented after the reopening of the country. This system could replace the issuance of COE and shorten the process of filling information and uploading travelers 'documents before visiting Thailand.
Travelers also can fill in their information of T8 Form Health Questionnaire and TM6 immigration form through Thailand pass system. Thailand Pass system will be ready to operate and replace the COC system approximately on 1 November 2021.
However, the COE will continuously be used for some group of travelers such as patients who need to stay in Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ) which need to be approved in advance for preparation, travelers who cross land border and travelers who travel as a group or by yachts and cruise ships.
