Chengdu Airlines Resumes Flight Services to Koh Samui after Three-Year Hiatus
Chengdu Airlines has announced plans to expand its flight services to Koh Samui. Currently, the airline offers three scheduled direct flights to Koh Samui with A319, departing on March 5th, 12th, and 19th, respectively.
The Chengdu - Samui EU2807 flight departs at 2.45 p.m. and arrives at 5.40 p.m. The Samui-Chengdu EU2808 flight departs at 18.40 and arrives at 23.15. Both flights operate on March 5th, 12th, and 19th.

Previously, Chengdu Airlines operated a flight to Koh Samui once a week on Sundays, starting from March 2020, using an Airbus A319 aircraft with a capacity of 140 seats. The flight proved popular among Chinese tourists, who stayed on the island for an average of seven days. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to increase the number of flights to Koh Samui up to three per week in May 2023, making it more convenient for tourists to travel to this beautiful island.
The expansion of flight services to Koh Samui is expected to contribute to the island's economy and enhance its tourism industry, as more Chinese tourists are likely to visit.
