Minimum Time in Tourist Sandboxes may be reduced to 7 days from October 2021

Opening of tourist destinations at five more provinces Bangkok, Chonburi (Pattaya), Petchaburi (Cha-am) Prachuab Khirikhan (Huahin) and Chiangmai (Muang district, Mea Teang, Mea Rim and Doi Tao) scheduled for October 1st.

If COVID-19 cases continue to decline in Thailand in September the minimum time required to stay in a Sandbox maybe reduced in October to 7 days from currently 14 days according to Thailand's Minister of Tourism and Sports.
