PCR Test now required to enter Samui by Ferries

Report from visitors coming by ferries on 20/07/21 and 19/07/21 indicating that they were informed about the new policy for entry into Samui by ferries, a requirement of PCR test to enter Ko Samui.

They were informed by authorities that now people from Dark Red zone who enter must have a negative Covid test, even if they are double vaccinated. The officials said this policy started yesterday on 19/07/21.

"They take you in a group to the local hospital to get a PCR test right away and you are told to self isolate until getting your results the next morning. I had to pay 1,900 THB for the PCR test" A visitor coming to Samui on July 20.
