The last COVID-19 cases in Samui Field Hospital now back home

The last COVID cases in Samui Field Hospital are now back home on 23 September 2021 after 14 days. The Field hospital in Samui is finally closed.

The Principal of Koh Samui Hospital mentioned that the spreading of the virus in Koh Samui is now under control since most of the cases are imported from outside of the island. Visitors from risky areas to Samui need to do a COVID test.

There are currently 26 COVID-19 cases left in Koh Samui Hospital. The closure of the field hospital can be done because of an ability to control the spreading of virus locally and in order to comply with the next step of reopening Koh Samui of the government.
